Overview
The validity period of a registered trademark is ten years. If the registered trademark continues to be used after the validity period, it should be renewed within 12 months before the expiration date. If it fails to process during this period, a 6-month extension period can be granted. Each renewal registration is valid for ten years, counting from the day following the expiry of the previous period of the trademark. If the renewal is not processed within the time limit, the registered trademark shall be revoked.
